No good… the fabrication isn’t working out!
I don’t know if it’ll help clear my head, but I’m posting an update anyway.
I haven’t even touched my own bike, let alone ridden it.
My GSF1200, which I’ve grown somewhat less fond of…
The front and rear wheels have different spoke counts, the silencer is thin, the tail pipe is dirty, and so on.
The exhaust pipe is hand-bent by Striker.
I said the tank was chrome! and polished it until it shined…
I regret the vacuum-deposited chrome plating failure every day.
But then it got beat up in a crash and needed an update.
I used a leftover 100mm silencer with five-spoke wheels front and rear, and Nishimura coating on the swing arm too.
I also threw in an AS Watanabe, and while there are black cords now, back then there weren’t any, so I temporarily used a blue NGK power cable.
Kawasaki used to have a vacuum-operated mag carburettor, so I spray-painted just the 1.4 with cans…

Doubling down on the sadness, I threw in a TMR-MJN. I didn’t really need it, but it looked so cool I ended up buying it anyway.
I stuffed a bonnet tube into the exhaust pipe and had a belly bender hand-bend a tail pipe for me.
The momentum just wouldn’t stop, so I ended up installing a stem too…
