Strandbeest (strandbeest—Dutch for “beach creature”)
I saw it on TV and thought “Wow, that’s kind of creepy”
It’s the kind of art that looks like it could appear in a Hayao Miyazaki film.
Such works are on display at Hibiya Patio ★
In the cold, I took the Hibiya Line to get there.
I had another purpose—I wanted to grab lunch in Hibiya
but lunch service ends at 2 p.m.
2:06 p.m.—”Sorry, we stop serving lunch at 2 p.m.” No luck ★
Too bad ★
