Excellent condition—nicely low, good grip, and plenty of arm room.
The seat foam has hardened and it’s flat.
But it’s built so it won’t go any further forward.

Found the source of that noise they mentioned!
It definitely doesn’t sound like a cam chain noise.
But it sounds like some kind of rattle.
Hmm, it comes and goes, so…
And since we had a title transfer today, I grabbed the paperwork and got ready to move.
So I straddled it and tapped the handlebar lightly with my palm—a habit I actually have.
The reason is to check if the handlebar is loose.
Then—
The right mirror area rattled.
Aha! That’s it? I fired up the engine and held it, and that was it!
When it seated properly, the noise disappeared; when it came loose, the noise came back.
Lucky break, even if by accident.
