The cowl was installed successfully. It’s easy to remove with fasteners, and the bracket isn’t as noticeable as I thought, so it looks just right.

There’s good oil coverage here.
When the lever area is lubricated, the main body really doesn’t wear down as quickly, so there’s less play developing.
It might be interesting to cut some grease grooves in there.
The brake side also has good oil coverage.
The side stand has oil coverage too, and I’ll adjust any play.
