July is winding down
and we’re heading into August☆Finally, the scorching summer
I love it more than the cold, but I hate the stickiness
Decoboco is as cool as an arcade—everyone who comes in just sits there reading manga or browsing the internet
We should add more PCs and set up a free drink station, or so I joke.
Starting Monday, we’ll be running in and out again with oil-cooled bikes and inspections.

Tonight…
I just had to—
eat a katsudon, so MJ/No. 13 and I headed to a mysterious tonkatsu place down a back alley…
A lovely shop run by an elderly couple
Their style of not pushing too hard or holding back too much is great—you can really relax there.
Lately I’ve been saying “Ugh, this is so annoying!” a lot.
Two katsudon bowls and one skewered cutlet set
Everything was under 1,000 yen—very reasonable☆
Really solid…definitely want to go back. As for the photo, there’s a suspicion I dropped the camera, but actually I just forgot it

On the way back…
There was a festival going on, so I wanted shaved ice and got “Blue Hawaii” for 120 yen☆
The syrup was barely there—it was just ice…I threw it away.
And then the main event!
MJ, who ranks among the top goldfish enthusiasts in Kawasaki, really wanted goldfish
so we went goldfish scooping for the first time in a while. 200 yen!
Sadly, we got one medaka and one goldfish
But the vendor threw in a few more, so we saved face.
I’m hoping these little ones will grow up gracefully at MJ’s place—
I, famous for my bad luck, spent 200 yen on an apricot candy game☆
I’ve never won before, but when I spun the roulette—
Beep boop! Three winners—oh yeah!

Yeah, it’s summer alright—summer nights are fun, but they’re short—
