Well then.
A GSF1200 came all the way from Toyama!
It’s got valve adjustments and such.
Let’s crack it open!
There’s quite a bit of sludge, but the cam and such are in excellent condition ☆
No signs of seizure.
The cam chain was a bit loose, so I tightened it up a little.
The engine damper shows moderate wear, and the bolts are pretty rusty.
The synchronization was just slightly off ☆
The generator parts arrive tomorrow, so we’ll have it finished then.
