He said you can’t cut it cleanly without a mandrel
“I think Yamasan has a 60 mm mandrel,” he said, so I got that hot tip and headed right over

There was this sketchy hand-bent titanium table base sitting around
They really do make some stylish stuff
I ended up taking it home! I’m thinking I’ll put a board on top and set some plants on it
They cut it clean with the metal saw, so tomorrow I’ll get it on the lathe for deburring and jump right into the work!
