Whether you push, pull, grip, or open it, everything is heavy.
Everything is stiff.
Since I wasn’t really asked to do a full job, I’m just checking the dangerous spots and leaving the rest alone.
Someone put grease on the throttle sleeve, so… ugh.
The clutch is mushy and heavy too.
I cleaned out the release, oiled the cable, and adjusted the routing.
It’ll get lighter, but it’s too early to go all the way, so I’m keeping it basic and buttoning it up.
The steering really should be taken apart once too.
Since they’re heading out this weekend, I just did an adjustment for now.
I also made sure the master cylinder tank won’t slip out.
The rear brass collar is custom-made.
The lights work too.
And various other bits and pieces.
I took it for a test ride after a long time.
The constant-vacuum carburettor really is nice.
And the front end is bent, huh.
