The rain forecast turned into clear skies, so I’m happy!
Back in the day, I rode my bike with Asakawa to Autopolis in Kyushu.
Well, we took the ferry though.
Even with such a beat-up bike, we made it there safely!
It had this weird problem where it would run on one cylinder when it rained, but I wonder what that was all about…
That GS1000S had the same rim width front and rear.
The wheels were Campagnolo units for the TZ, and back then (not that long ago) they were circulating for dirt-cheap prices.
The PCD was the same as the ow-01 and such, so we’d swap in stainless or use Brembo cast iron and all that.
The calipers were BSE-made Katana 1100 320Φ units.
Those old Brembo calipers looked cool, but I saw them crack pretty often…
Even after swapping the master cylinder, caliper, and rotor, the hose was still stock rubber…
