Now then,
with the race replaced,
it’s time to check the seal contact.
The underside is in pretty good shape, so I just tweaked it a little.
The top side is, as expected, pretty rough.
The photo shows it before any grinding, and I’m thinking maybe it’s being pressed too hard.
It’s good that it can seal, though.
It’s still just a trial assembly, but the difference is dramatic ★
