The link is cast iron, I think? Unbelievably heavy.
Each part is dirty, but “just as expected!” The bearings appear to have been replaced once already.
I was thinking worst case we’d have to replace them, so I’m glad that’s not the case.
All the sleeves came clean with just lathe work and polishing.
It was an oil grime day.
Today we got to the temporary assembly stage.
Tomorrow we’ll finish up with rear wheel bearing, chain sprocket, clutch, and engine oil change★
