Late in the afternoon, Y from the Tattoo Katana 750 sent a short email: “Are you around?” Decoboco replied, “I’m here, but I can’t do any work.” Y: “I want to install a boost kit though.” Decoboco: “If you’re doing it yourself, go ahead.” A few minutes later, Y showed up with the kit.

This was quite different from the parts Y had bought before—pretty fancy stuff! Decoboco: “Huh, it goes on easy?”
Y: “I forgot the instructions, but it should be simple.”
↑ That’s pretty reckless!
Decoboco: “What’s that?? You sure you’re okay?”
Decoboco: “I’m stuck in milling hell, so feel free to go ahead!”
Y was working away frantically… A few dozen minutes later…
With a loud rumble, the installation seemed to be complete…
Y: “The fuel economy should definitely improve!” he said.
He left in high spirits, but…
His odometer wasn’t working (it’s broken).
Fix or replace the meter first, dude!
It looked like he’d secured it with zip ties here and there… but since it’s a DIY job…
