GSX-R1100 M/N Oil-cooled maintenance / Front / Bearing maintenance

After all, oil-cooled maintenance on the GSX-R is easy!
The most challenging is the Bandit 1200.
1) There are lots of supplementary parts on top of the head cover.
2) To synchronize the carburetors, you have to remove the vacuum cap, which means you can’t avoid pulling the carbs out of the intake manifold.
3) To remove the engine damper, you have to “shift the oil cooler” and “loosen the front engine hanger joint.”
Most bikes have an engine guard attached.
But since we’re used to the Bandit 1200 anyway, everything else goes smooth as butter ★

For some reason, one is in standard spec

The damper is a bit on the stiff side

The engine damper showed no severe wear ★

This is after adjustment ★ It was messed up like crazy, but I accidentally deleted the photo!
The throttle is heavy too, so we need to address that as well ★
That’s all for today!!
