BSA SR400 Flat-Rate Motorcycle Inspection / Newtech and More

The other day I took a BSA SR in for inspection.

It’s a rare SR with a different frame.

Since it’s a dry-sump setup, we replaced the filters on both the engine side and the tank side.
The throttle return was really sluggish and sticky. It’s a routing and inner cable length issue.
We sorted that out.
The brake switch was shot, so we replaced it.
We also adjusted the steering.
We ditched the direct carburettor setup.
I think fitting a ram-air filter or something like that would be easier on the head.
Yep.
