I want to fit a K-model swingarm to a GSX-R1100 M/N ♪
It seems like everyone secretly dreams of doing this…
We finally managed to install one of the two that have been lying around in our shop.
Now let’s measure both of them.
Basically it’s bolt-on, but it’s better to swap the linkage at the same time.
The issue is we need to shorten the chain by about six links.
The torque rod is too long.
The rear hose is too long as well.
That’s really the only problem.
It ends up nice and compact.
Ideally we’d need to adjust the ride height to correct the stance, but today we’re just doing a temporary fit.
I really wanted to work on a GSF1200 cam for a Bandit 1200, but I couldn’t make time for it…
I’m beat, so we’re calling it a day…
