I got most of it done yesterday, so today is office work
Remaining prep:
1) Sprocket replacement and inspection
2) Alternator removal & starter clutch inspection
3) Camera mount bracket fabrication
There’s quite a bit to do, so if I just breeze through it vaguely, things will go south…
And
1) is done
Moving on to 2) for a thorough check
While removing it, I already noticed something was off…
….
The one-way clutch M8 bolt is firmly secured
But the one-way clutch body is rattling around…
It’s not just that the lock pin is missing…
Whoa! What is this?
It’s been used rattling around without the lock pin, so it ended up like this ★
Even if I reinstall it, the mounting area is all loose
The lock pin alone won’t hold it, and it’ll break and go back to “rattling” ★
I’m doing the same thing with the Z1R this year… and here’s the correct photo
