Year after year
things begin and end,
I reflect and think about my hopes for next year,
and somehow fall just short of achieving them,
and it’s on to next year again
Really!
Just a little more left, and 2012 is almost over—this year I haven’t pushed myself that hard,
but next year in 2013 I’d like to try a little harder than I did this year★
