Well, time to break the seal on something I’ve kept under wraps for ages★
I pulled out my spare engine.
Since I assembled this engine so many years ago, I’m definitely worried about it.
It’s a hybrid of two engines in one: a GSX-R1100 and a GSF1200 mixed together.
The case is from the GSF.
The rest is the GSX-R1100 internals bored out with a GSF1200 piston.
When I checked, it was brand new.
After that: surface grinding, seat cutting, valve reuse with polishing, and valve length adjustment.
Pretty much a bare-bones assembly spec.
Popped the head cover and did a quick check.
