The classic case of a bulb that won’t produce enough brightness★
We haven’t kept manufacturer statistics, but most of them are duds.
This one was also wired directly to the battery, and even with the light beam aligned, it only puts out 10,000 candelas★
Switching to a different bulb bumped it up 2.5 times right away.
The Katana’s light bracket is a real pain—the lens contacts the fairing
Everything’s floating too much, and it gave us quite a headache.
Another Katana… this one also has the lens slightly touching the fairing, and there’s no adjustment range—we really struggled with it
GS1200SS—bikes from around this model year adjust perfectly, and it feels great.
The photo’s out of focus, but if we don’t fix this, the emissions will completely fail.
This one too—we managed it★ The plastic on the lens adjustment is worn, and there’s a lot of play, but we got it sorted
