Just mill it with an M6 countersink bit on the milling machine… surprisingly few places to clamp, so it’s a pain to do
The cover and bolts are flush, so it looks cool. When aggressive riders are on it, the left and right cover bolts
scrape, so there’s a slight increase in lean angle (barely any difference…)?
Type 2 got that bonnet-like look by also shaving down the Yoshimura area…
