The Inazuma 400’s color scheme is really nice, you know?
The 1200 is pretty plain, so I kind of admire the 400’s color scheme.
It looks like it’s going to get busy again soon, so I’ll keep plugging away~

I’ll be replacing the engine damper.
The 400 has a different frame left-right connection, so
removing the damper was easy (*´ω`*)

The 1200 has the mount integrated with it now.

There wasn’t much wear.
I’ll replace the damper with the final version.
This part might stop being available someday…

I cleaned up the areas that could be made to look nice.

I cleaned up the generator and starter motor area when I removed them.

I’ll replace the shift shaft oil seal.
Lubrication, heat gun, and sliding hammer—it went smoothly this time.

Depending on where the oil seal is located, basically“just push it in by hand”and it goes in.
What’s important is“cleaning, lubrication, and straight alignment.”That’s all there is to it.

I polished the starter motor as much as I could.

This is how I finished it up♪
There’s nothing particularly special about it.

Just attach a stainless steel brush to an impact driver and polish.
Whether it’s SPL or Ultra, everyone does the same thing.

The generator damper was still in good condition.
*Already replaced

I cleaned out the dust and dirt as usual.

There was no major scuffing and it was in good condition.

The head interior is relatively clean.

I check for any fallen parts or foreign objects and then close the cover.
*Tappet and cam chain adjustment already completed.

I always notice the dirt in this hole.
Since it’s not a spot I open very often, I’ll clean it up.

I cleaned up the breather cover and applied gun coat to the bolts.

I balanced the carbs and we’re done♪
Now it’s just the oil change and inspection left.
