The PJ and MJ aren’t arriving at all, so work is falling behind.
The idle is unusually unstable…
Even after swapping jets, we’re not getting much improvement…
And it’s freezing cold outside

MJN #C – we have data on several Ninja-type 38φ carburetors, but for 40φ it’s only RK…
I was thinking of swapping the MJN, but that can’t be it—
There aren’t many 40φ TMRs out there, so we’re a bit stuck ★
TMR V-seal area defects and such
from past cases we’ve seen
where idling just wouldn’t settle—it’d go “vroom-vroom-vroom-vroom,” revving up and down
The owner asked us to adjust the carburettor, but nothing we tried fixed it
When we asked the owner, they said they’d just had a new TMR and ST-1 installed
and brought it in for tuning right away
We took off the head cover to double-check
and found the timing was off by one tooth—the valve timing was wrong ★
Hoping for a quick fix this time!
