Let me get a little work done… I’ll just ignore the people here
 

 
Well—I finally put a digital counter on the milling machine!
Just kidding ★ It’s a kitchen timer.
So what am I doing?
 

 
Temporary mounting ★
With the Watanabe universal bracket, it’s too close to the engine and visible from the side, plus I wanted the cable a bit longer
 

 
It moved up quite a bit & the cable line looks natural now ★
 

 
Watanabe takes way more time than I expected…
Plus the layout and everything changes each time—is that like a version upgrade?
Aside from making the bracket… the process is
1) Widen the spark plug gap and attach the NGK cable terminal to the plug.
2) Temporarily mount the coil and determine the cable layout.
As short as possible and as gentle a curve as possible looks natural.
3) For attaching the cable and coil,
instead of following the manual’s “expose the core, fold it, and insert” method,
we crimp the terminal onto the cable and insert it.
The benefit is that you can tell “it’s seated all the way in,”
and “if it does come out, recovery is quick.”
The standard mounting method works fine, but this is insurance ★
4) Oil-cooled models have a spark plug cover, so we reuse it.
Since the cap’s outer diameter is different, we use a gasket punch on the spark plug cover
to enlarge the hole.
Now the coil can finally be fixed ★
Next is mounting the main unit~
Most of my brilliant ideas get rejected
