I want to reinstall the sidestand I removed earlier, so for now I’m just mounting the bracket…
The threads on the left side are stripped.
I mean, the sidestand bracket was fixed with pop rivets—that really shows the era this bike is from.
I’ll do a helicoil repair in this gap★
Sure enough, it went smoothly. I gave up because I couldn’t get the coil in properly.
I managed to grind it away, but now I can’t crimp it…
“Phew…” After I finally got the bracket mounted, now the right side is “oh no, it’s stretching~”
On hold for now.
