the “Kowa Seiki Vacuum Tester KEK-55-5A”
The nipple developed a crack, so we’re requesting a repair part.
The part number is “KEK-55-5-B1” and the list price is 500 yen.
They told us it’s quite an old model and basically discontinued…
Since newer versions are available, there’s not much we can do about it.
Even though we’ve only been using it for about 10 years
So when rubber parts like this become unavailable,
it’s a real hassle, so we stocked up with extra.
That’s 50 years’ worth! ★
Well, I doubt I’ll be doing this job for that long anyway.
