It was loaded with grease ☆ Debris sticking, oozing out, dripping – thin and spread out is OK.
We prefer to apply engine oil thinly to the axle for rust prevention, and grease to the threaded part.
Not quite sure, but we polish it and then apply rust-preventive coating ☆
Heat it in the oven! So far it hasn’t peeled even with a wrench applied.

Pad grease way too much – caliper is a mess ☆ Operation is so-so.
