The axle, spacer, and nut have been treated with rust-preventive baked enamel. ☆
The wheel bearings are looking like they could use a replacement soon.
The caliper has already been overhauled once, so it’s operating smoothly.
There’s plenty of debris, but the condition is acceptable.
The rear is moving nicely too.
Even after cleaning and working it by hand, if the piston movement is still stiff, it’s best to clean the internal grooves thoroughly and replace the seals soon.
No matter how much you wash and work it from the outside, the inside won’t get clean. ☆
Fluid change—three times!
After we swap the pads tomorrow, we’re done!
