I think everyone has their own way of using tools.
It’s better to keep everyday tools to a minimum and use them efficiently.
I’m sharing this for people who use tools here at Decoboco or have used them here ★
Basically, I don’t want to lend out tools.
If you don’t think about how you use them, bolts won’t loosen and tools break, so please think carefully!
• Don’t put tools on the ground! Always use a tray!
• Take all the tools you need in one trip!
• Return any tools you don’t need when you go back for something!
• Return them with the surface degreased! Just kidding.
• Wipe your hands like a chef! Tools get all greasy
What’s really common is people who immediately grab the “3/8 ratchet” and “3/8 box wrench.”
Even though I keep saying don’t loosen things with a 3/8 ratchet, almost everyone pulls this one out every time . . .
I only use a 3/8 ratchet a handful of times a week.
I think it’s the most useful tool in tight spaces where you need to work back and forth.
Basically, don’t touch the 3/8 ratchet here at Decoboco!

Use a one-piece T wrench.
Basically, tools that can use a box wrench have clearance in the socket, so there’s play.
Since the socket contact point is only touching at a spot, the feel is pretty rough, you know? . . .
Generally, 8–17 mm is enough for Japanese domestic bikes.
One-piece wrenches feel really GOOD.
The 3/8 T wrench gets used pretty rarely.
Spark plug changes, maybe somewhere a bit recessed? Really just a few times a week?
