There’s a rainwater drainage channel around the perimeter, and if you don’t clean it sometimes it gets clogged,

Oh no! About 20 mm below the drill press was flooded!
I checked the storm drain from the inspection port and it was nearly full!
It would have overflowed, so I blocked the front, cleaned the drain outlet, and removed the cover—
and it went “glug-glug-glug” and drained instantly.
