The fork oil was completely gray in color with a foul odor, and my hands got sticky from cleaning rust off the inner parts, so I ended up skipping photos…
The oil seals are SKF, so they should provide smooth operation.
From K to N, the handlebar has surprisingly loose play. These spacers are wear items, so please replace them occasionally ★
By the way, they cost a bit over 2,000 yen, so they’re somewhat pricey.
Plenty of grease is applied to the wheel collar to prevent it from falling off during assembly and to lubricate the speedometer gear, and the gear is often reassembled with the tabs bent. However, it just gets dirty, so it’s not really helpful.
When the tabs are bent during assembly, the seal ends up damaged as you can see. Since it still works, we’ll reuse it for now.
I straightened the tabs back out.
