The Bandit 1200 K6 really has nowhere to go, and I was in trouble. I almost made an extra mistake with the burring too…but it was safe.
Because of the ribs on the burring, I ran into a situation where I couldn’t bend it. But I managed somehow…. I’ll just drill a hole in the other one.

Lately, I think almost all OEM electrical components are floating. It’s a safety feature to prevent breakage.
The included double-sided tape mounting is surprisingly easy for anyone to install, and it might be a good idea with a floating feel to it.
Since I like the OEM look, I also use this kind of tab-locking method.
The dial side is fully visible and adjustment is possible.
If you insert it the other way, you can use it like this.
The ETC power comes from a separate source. These days I wish aftermarket electrical components could be removed easily by anyone….
