The Z’s drain bolt has a larger outer diameter compared to newer ones, and even if some small foreign matter remains in the threads, the drain won’t tighten by hand.
If we tighten it forcefully, we’d feel bad for the threads, so while I’m carefully picking through the threads with my finger… something? A large fragment touches my finger inside the oil pan.
