It’s been two years since the brake fluid was changed. You’d really want to do it about once a year.
I think it’s better to choose brake fluid based on your intended use.
Responsive racing fluid does seem to have a shorter shelf life.
If you taste it once and say “hmm, I can’t really tell the difference,” then standard DOT4 should be fine.
Highly hygroscopic fluid does deteriorate faster. Since it’s really troublesome if it goes bad, I’d recommend choosing based on your use and changing it once a year, or at least every two years.
Not changing the coolant won’t cause immediate failure.
But it heats up to just over 100 degrees and cools down repeatedly, and impurities and corrosion seem likely to develop.
If the water pump fails, you can detect engine oil mixing in, so I’d say using it for about two years is good.
The engine oil is also from two years ago.
