I searched for “Haneda Airport photography” and found this spot, so I headed out on my beloved Spacy 100.
Even a scooter like this has to pay for parking.
Plenty of people shoot with telephoto lenses, but you don’t see many with a PC lens…
Lately I’ve been using either PC Micro-Nikkor 85mm f/2.8D or Carl Zeiss Planar T* 1.4/50mm almost exclusively.
Manual focus is fun, soft focus is OK! Depth of field by feel is OK! No need for delicate rendering!
It’s a lens that makes the everyday world so much more interesting and transforms your perspective.
It would be even more interesting if there were more people around… the Spacy 100 keeps me pretty far away…
