What needs to be done before painting. Remove bearings and such, take off the tires, remove the air valve, wash everything—it takes more time than you’d expect.
I’ve been unable to access the site and updates have fallen behind.
These are tapered roller bearings. Since there’s no puller for this diameter, I removed them by modifying the axle shaft.
I made a custom press-out collar to remove the bushings.
