Let’s check the wiring. When I open the light to reset the turn signal… there’s a multi-tap.
The work might have been done by me in the past. It’s clear evidence that I installed it without thinking at all, which is really unfortunate.
Since a multi-tap comes included, it’s somewhat unavoidable for users to use it.
It takes up space, but since it’s reinforced with the multi-tap anyway, it shouldn’t come loose. ↑ This is how it’s currently wired.
I was thinking about tapping from the gray wire, but instead I disconnected the connector and shrink-wrapped it.
I actually like the 090 connector’s terminal latch. The latch on the spade terminal side is a hassle when reusing.
Being able to pull from a location where you can get both + and − from nearby positions with a shape and orientation that prevents incorrect insertion is nice and subtle.
The battery was dead, so I replaced it. And I got the date wrong.
