We did a shop interior rearrangement today.
About twenty years ago, I wanted a tool cart. Since I didn’t have the budget for a proper one, I went to Shimokitazawa back then and bought a kitchen cart to modify. The driver holder on the side is a seasoning rack from Muji. The wheels couldn’t handle the weight, so I replaced them with ones that could bear the load.
Since it was cheap, it’s gotten pretty wobbly and beat up. We took it apart and disposed of it today.
We organized the cart and moved everything to the main tool box.
It’s still temporary, but it’s quite a job.
I’m thinking about peeling off unnecessary stickers too. Don’t you think stickers start to look tacky as time goes on?
Most of these ridiculous numbers of boxes are materials. I want to be able to pull things out quickly and put them away easily. I want to minimize wasted time searching and organizing.
Reducing what we keep on the floor will definitely improve both the appearance and efficiency.
