I didn’t have time to worry about setting up the positioner, so I ended up hand-welding it in the end.
I think it’s probably fine. I could cut the center stand bracket and call it good, but that seemed like a hassle so I passed on it.
It ended up looking pretty sketchy.
Since it’s a bolt-on piece, we’re reusing the bracket too.
It took a full day, but I got a feel for the process, so next time if I pick up a few specialized tools, I can make them cleaner and faster.
