We’ll continue with the work. Just a little more until completion.

We’ll adjust the synchronization. The deviation is slight, so no worries.

If you ride it, it will always get out of sync, so I don’t think you need to be overly concerned about it.

The ignition coil was replaced. We used a bent cap. The cost comes to about half.

We’ll perform an oil change. Newtech NC50 10W-50 & oil filter

We’ll replace the drain bolt with one from a newer model year. It’s 17 mm across flats. Don’t use a Suzuki drain gasket—it’s extremely difficult to remove.

The air filter looks fine for now.

It’s a good idea to check inside the air cleaner box. Gasoline and oil mist from blowby can accumulate. It tells us about some condition.

This is a common symptom on open-type battery GSX-R models. It was heading for a charging failure that would have caused a stop.

It looks cleaner if the shape matches as much as possible. Connectors can be dyed, but they’re basically white.

The crimp terminals at points that get disconnected repeatedly aren’t great. And when the color is different too, that’s questionable.

Hmm. This is a bit… Let’s replace it down the road. We’re putting it on hold, so we won’t make a bracket for it.

I noticed something odd—the battery terminal bolt was bottomed out and floating. You’ve ridden this thing well.
I think we’ve done a good first round of draining the infection.
