Rear maintenance plus OH as the main job with some additional requests on the side.
First up—we’re returning the handlebar to standard. We considered an easy-riding position, but it turned out to be pretty tough, so standard ended up being the safest bet.
The throttle wasn’t moving at all, so we had to strip the paint down to a minimum.
We’re relocating the Watanabe coil. The coil-side mount orientation is different from the one we worked on before—I wonder if the new one has changed?
So the construction is a bit different from the older one.
The coil cap is now a vented type.
And that’s how it goes.
There we have it.
Everything’s a tight fit.
Hmmmm…
We trimmed it and cleaned things up nicely.
The ETC antenna is being relocated too.
It’s up on the left now. And we’re moving the Active meter forward.
Moved.
Phew… looking at it closely… that space is such a waste…
This opens up a lot of room for relocating the electrical components.
