Let’s work out the oil cooler piping layout.

This time we’re running pipe instead of hose. It looks like raw aluminum. You can bend it by hand.
If the layout is too tight, it becomes hard to remove and install. We want to keep it simple while leaving some room to work.

The mesh hose naturally needs protection from scratches and contact, so we’re wrapping it in mesh and securing it firmly with cable ties. It looks great too.

The intake manifold is from a Z1000J (number 1135). Because of pitch issues, we’re using a slotted hole for temporary positioning.

The outlet was old, so we polished it and it looks brand new. Clean is best.

We routed it through the tight spot between carburetors 3 and 4, which caused it to contact the carb, but we managed to clear it.
With this layout, we shouldn’t compromise the serviceability of carb removal and maintenance.
We should avoid letting parts installation degrade serviceability whenever possible.

Finally we got it secured.
