The oil cooler sits surprisingly far forward, and when turning full lock, the hose just barely touches it.
It felt a bit off, so after mulling it over, I went with a simple approach: no core cover.

The theory that the muffler bracket should go on the back side? No—it physically won’t work there. I added a spacer to push it back just a bit.

Fewer parts are better. I want solid contact, so I made it stepped.

Pushing it back caused it to touch near the tandem step, but I sorted that out—all good now.

The mirror position looked a bit unbalanced, so I made a bracket to align it to the right, raise it slightly, and pull it forward. Aluminum is great—so easy to work with.
Straight wouldn’t look right, so I made it triangular. Since it’s a free service, I kept the lightening holes generous.
