Let’s replace the piston cup in the rear brake master.
The rear master is easy to overlook, but let’s replace the hose at the same time.
We’ll polish the exterior to refresh it. When maintenance is done and the appearance becomes beautiful while function is restored, your attachment to the bike should deepen even more.
It’s become more beautiful than new.
We forgot to remove the piston, but the hose joint area was completely caked with emulsified residue.
We replaced the brake hose with a rubber one. The feel is solid too.
While we’re at it, we’ll clean it up as a service.
Each step we take builds up to something really good. The rest will wait until the materials arrive. It’ll be done next weekend.
