Let’s fabricate a reservoir tank bracket. The H2 tank offers excellent visibility. We use it because it works well, not just because it’s trendy.
I’ve been making tank brackets so much lately that I’ve gotten about 1mm smarter at it.
If you set the position and angle on the bender, you can make both sides at once, which is fast.
Then we cut it to the required length.
The collar is stepped with a radius to give it a rounded appearance.
Then we weld it and we’re done.
The RCS master outlet was angled, so we changed it to straight. It might be different with clip-on bars, though.
We made it symmetrical and as low as possible. The result is completely understated.
The side stand was dirty, so we cleaned and repainted it.
We also installed the link shim. It’s complete.
