We’ve been shifting toward bolt-on custom shop work lately.

First, let’s use genuine Brembo and change the angle straight. The angle is a bit hard to set lower.

We’ve been making nothing but these lately, so we’re getting fast. We bend SUS304 on a bender—tight fit.

We’ll replace the left one down the road.

I notice quite a difference in master cylinder position, but for now this will do.

We fabricate SUS mesh brake hoses. Ours run nearly double the price of off-the-shelf parts. We make them to fit each bike, taking finish and serviceability into account.
T-FIT flopping around on zip ties looks sad, so we install a fixed bracket. The front stand should be able to come up.
Push rivets lock the bracket in place.

The rest is the usual stuff, so I’ll skip it.

If you don’t force an awkward layout, you don’t need to secure the hose.

I basically avoid banjo bolts and use fittings instead, so the per-part cost adds up. Off-the-shelf hoses are usually banjo type, aren’t they?

When you force-fit it like this, you can imagine how long it gets. Well, that’s what happens when you bolt on parts as sold.

Since this wasn’t the right time to fabricate a new hose, we kept it short.
Done.
