The parts arrived, so we’re reassembling. The races are naturally being replaced.

We’re also packing it with Neutech NC100 grease.

The stem assembly is brand new and black. We’ve also countersunk the stopper.

The wheel truing is complete and it spins beautifully.

Since we’re going with the new OHLINS upright fork, we’re lending out the initial-groove OHLINS upright. Being able to see the protrusion makes it easier.

We’re installing the hugely popular K-FACTORY clutch piston.

It’s amazing it didn’t leak, considering the distance it’s been ridden. But the fluid replacement rate has been so high that’s probably why it held up.

Why don’t they use zippers on Katana fairings? I’ve been wondering about that lately.
