But mass-market shops have limited equipment and time, so there are only so many options.

Power was being drawn with a multi-tap and splice connectors.
The proper way is to run power and ground in parallel—that’s the cleanest layout you can achieve.

Anyone looking at the wiring should be able to tell which is positive and which is negative.
Learn which end of a connector or terminal is the supply side before you start wiring.

The mesh tubing is visible here, but we’ll tuck it away inside for a cleaner look.

We switched to a mini blade fuse. This saves space and makes storage and replacement easier.

Considering visibility and serviceability, this location would be ideal, but… well, it’s complicated.

After sleeping on it, the owner suggested it might look like a “speed warning light,” so we redid it the next day.

We couldn’t bend it at this position, so we made it hybrid-style.

The battery is an MF WESTCO, which can also be used for maintenance-free applications. This battery is reliable.
