The engine started right up, so we’re doing the inspection, Deco-mainte, D.I.D ZVM-X & Sunstar Service Kit + Newtech oil change and more.
We’re swapping the tires for T30 EVO.
No runout—that’s reassuring.
The air valve side is nice and heavy—good sign.
This is a good time to clean out the shaft passage too.
The bearings look fine as they are.
It was a real pain getting it out. Sure enough, there’s some light rust.
The shaft runout is no problem.
I’ll clean the inside as much as I can.
The setup is a bit odd, but I’ll make it work for reuse.
The rear pads are gone—they need replacing.
Pretty dirty in there.
Just a light steam and the dirt comes right off. Now we’ll brush it, steam again, and get even more grime out.
Some spots won’t come clean, but it’s come back to life beautifully.
It was so fuzzy I had to sand it down first before polishing.
The disc holes are in good shape—not too many pits. More to come…
