
The sprocket is really worn down. For now, just the rear.

We scrub the chain thoroughly, then apply two types of chain oil for conditioning.

Hmm, extra grease isn’t necessary—we don’t want it overflowing.

The supports are so dirty we want to clean them too.

We handle the spots the owner can’t reach. This sets things up well for two years down the road and beyond.

Moving to the front—the bearings are good.

The front is dusty too, but no rust—it’s in good shape.

Cleaning this area really makes you love your bike more.

The pedal has bearings, so we lubricate from the outside.

The lever is running dry.

The throttle was clean.

The fluid was pretty dirty though.

The side stand had no oil at all.

We changed the coolant. We’ll reuse the cap.

We lubricated both the upper and lower fork to prevent rust. Of course we wipe it down afterward.

We cleaned all three brake discs. They were pretty dirty.
