The trick is how to install it smartly where it won’t be seen…
If only we could just stick it on with the included double-sided tape… well, let’s see.
A headlight relay was also requested, so I’ve marked out the installation points.
Whenever there’s a gap, I want to tighten it… drill a hole… do some barelling… and this is what happens. I stopped here because anything more would be risky.
The Plasma V Plus installation is shown as a concept. I’ve left space in case it gets added later.
Here’s the standard ignition state. It’s been going “brrrrrrr~” wildly the whole time.
Once installed, the waveform becomes smooth and settled like this.
So what’s the bottom line? Right?
The GSXR1100 has quite a bit of annoying micro-vibration even stock. With this Plasma Booster, it should become much smoother. I don’t think it’ll be a shocking change, but the effect is definitely there.
On the back, the headlight relays are mounted in a row like this.
A subtle discovery: wiring runs through the barelled holes… it’s a fact…
You have to deburr carefully or it’s dangerous.
Since I had the carburetors apart, I synchronized them.
An idle screw remote control is nice, right?
Zip-tying it would be sad, so I’ll weld a boss to keep it looking stock.
Subtle… not looking like you’ve made changes… that’s the mature way.
